Free Reading Asssessment - 45 minutes Appointments may be scheduled for a free reading assessment to establish a student's current reading skills and to establish the starting point for completing the foundation for reading as well as demonstrating the pace for advancing the reading and comprehension. By the end of the 45 minute session, we will have progressed to the point where the child is reading words using First Focus Reading and decoding methods. We will provide the parent with the lesson plan outline used during the session to continue practicing specific reading skills at home.
